Energy Data That Carries Your Credit Decision

For banks and financiers: the Digital Building Passport turns scattered exposé documents into a verifiable risk dataset for collateral valuation, green refinancing and ESG/EU-taxonomy reporting.

From exposé document to risk dataset

Energy certificates as PDFs are unstructured and often outdated. The passport delivers the same facts — efficiency class, energy demand, CO₂, component quality, renovation history — as structured, machine-readable data with source logic: every value states where it comes from and how trustworthy it is (Building Trust Index).

Regulatory pull

EBA loan-origination guidelines, EU taxonomy and the EPBD push banks to evidence the energy performance of financed buildings. The passport provides exactly this data layer — per building and portfolio-ready.

Machine-readable

JSON/XML access per building via the documented Building API, including the signed canonical dataset.

Role-based access

Banks receive their own scoped access code — no owner PIN, revocable at any time, with access log.

Verification logic

Cryptographically signed passport versions; every figure traceable to certificate, calculation or document.

Not just “class C”

The passport explains why a building is class C and which planned steps lead to B or A — plannable risk instead of a static label.
